Responsibility
- to work alongside and manage and lead a small team of warehouse staff
- ensure that stock levels are monitored and maintained
- we have a fantastic opportunity for a self motivated individual to join our Team at APAC Group Ltd as a Weekend/Days Warehouse Team leader
- organise and confirm the daily deliveries, checking goods in and out and processing the associated paperwork accordingly
- the successful candidate will lead and manage a small team ensuring orders continue to be processed and the Warehouse is running efficiently and effectively
- ensure that the warehouse is clean, safe and efficiently operated
- ensure that the team daily targets are met
- hold regular meetings and performance manage the team when required
Requirements
- previous supervisory / team leading experience gained within a warehouse / distribution environment is highly desirable
- you will be self motivated and have a dedicated approach
- strong communication and people skills are essential
- ability to lead and develop a team, with a dedication to achieve results
- demonstrate Leadership skills with the ability to adapt to, and lead people through change
- good numeracy, spoken and written communication skills
- strong IT skills and knowledge of WMS
- you will have strong organisational and time management skills, be able to make quick decisions and prioritise tasks depending on changing workloads
