lead on monitoring supplier performance against contract KPIs and provide support and guidance on contract management to the appropriate staff
lead on the delivery of specific procurement projects as identified including initiation of tender exercises, supplier negotiation and contract approval
leading on the creation of all the necessary documentation, supplier engagement and internal governance in line with the agreed strategy
lead on the management and maintenance of processes for tracking Anthem-wide and school contracts to ensure that contracts registers are maintained and opportunities for cost savings through joint-purchasing are identified
analyse all requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and company policies and procedures
lead on the development and embedding of the Anthem procurement policy, establish and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the policy and associated procurement routes are fit for purpose and deliver required financial savings
own the development, monitoring and continuous improvement of the procurement guide - the documents, policies, processes and templates required to enable effective management of procurement requirements
ensure the procurement guide is understood by schools, particularly the public sector procurement rules, and that appropriate processes and procedures are applied to ensure legal compliance

Responsibility
to supervise pupils in the absence of a teacher, creating and maintaining a purposeful and orderly learning environment for pupils
to ensure that the work set by the teacher is carried out in accordance with the Academy’s strategy
to deal with any emergencies or problems which occur, in line with the academy’s policies and procedures
to ensure that completed work is collected at the end of the lesson and returned to the teacher
to provide class support for students when not needed to cover lessons
to check that pupils have the appropriate equipment and materials to enable them to complete the tasks set and answering pupils’ questions about process and procedures
to support expectations of pupil behaviour in the classroom, securing appropriate standards of discipline and ensuring that the academy’s behaviour management policy is adhered to
