Responsibility

  • calculation of month end stock valuations, reconciliations and variance investigations as required
  • ongoing monitoring of job-costings
  • assisting the Finance Manager with the monthly management accounts including completion of balance sheet reconciliations and monthly reports
  • provide constructive challenge and input to ensure that opportunities and risks are identified, reported, and addressed
  • assist in the preparation of the annual budget and regular re-forecasts to Group
  • continually review, and implement improved financial control procedures, systems, and processes
  • produce detailed analysis such as sales and purchases by customer & department
  • preparing for and complying with for statutory audits

Requirements

  • experience of data manipulation using Power BI, Power Query, Excel
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage conflict and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders
  • A proven capability to interrogate, analyse and manage complex data streams for multiple internal/external sources
  • A good standard of general education + professional accounting qualification – QBE considered for the right candidate
