Responsibility
- create and manage the System description and behaviour through application of Model Based Systems Engineering
- maintain and be responsible for the continuous improvement of the metamodel, ontology and methods used for modelling within the MBSE tool
- develop add-ons to improve the workflow and outputs of the MBSE tool
- capture requirements from a range of sources including, existing specifications, standards, operators and management personnel
- role model positive behaviours and support the development of other engineers
- take the lead on progressing the Stork product family through design, development, test, verification and validation in accordance with the engineering life cycle processes
- support the Systems Engineering Manager to develop, improve and sustain processes as well as ensuring quality control of engineering processes across the teams
Requirements
- good first degree or Masters in a relevant engineering discipline
- experience in a similar systems role in a relevant industry
- proactive approach to identifying and solving problems with an ability to apply a "Systems thinking" approach
- demonstrable ability to understand and formalise the functional structure of a complex system, and to weed-out inconsistencies
- experience of working with technical requirements, statements of work, integration, verification and validation, acceptance criteria
- awareness of ARP4754A practices
- knowledge and application of Model Based Systems Engineering
