Requirements

  • good organisational & communication skills and time management
  • ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a larger team
  • good DIY skills or interest in carpentry/interior design
  • ability to lift heavier items within HSE guidelines
  • current fork- lift licence required
  • must have full driving licence

Responsibility

  • receive orders for furniture and interior design schemes . Report any damages or discrepancies
  • organise onward loading and despatch of these items, when the show home is ready to be fitted
  • update company systems
  • complete diary logs and maintain health and safety standards in the warehouse
  • loading of company vehicles and those of its subcontractors
  • delivery and collection of furniture from time to time using a company van
  • operate warehouse equipment
  • general upkeep and maintaining presentation standards of the warehouse area
