Responsibility
- manage your Property Portfolio ensuring correct Property and Safety Certificates are in place
- arrange agreed pre tenancy requirements notified to them by a branch office, eg professional cleaning, smoke alarm tests etc
- agree what “float” we should hold, i.e. money we retain to pay invoices on a landlord’s behalf
- ensure accounting procedure for receiving and authorising contractor invoices is followed
- ensure there is effective and efficient liaison and communication between B&R, Landlord and Tenant
- ensure contractors have the correct insurance and certification to carry out the works instructed and that records are updated and maintained
- deal with insurance claims, liaising with block managers, loss adjusters, arranging estimates
- inspect properties and submit reports to landlords
Requirements
- must be ARLA Propertymark qualified to Level 3
- have a good knowledge of Microsoft Software packages
- excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- good organisational skills and attention to detail
- enjoy being part of a team all working towards a common goal
