Responsibility

  • manage your Property Portfolio ensuring correct Property and Safety Certificates are in place
  • arrange agreed pre tenancy requirements notified to them by a branch office, eg professional cleaning, smoke alarm tests etc
  • agree what “float” we should hold, i.e. money we retain to pay invoices on a landlord’s behalf
  • ensure accounting procedure for receiving and authorising contractor invoices is followed
  • ensure there is effective and efficient liaison and communication between B&R, Landlord and Tenant
  • ensure contractors have the correct insurance and certification to carry out the works instructed and that records are updated and maintained
  • deal with insurance claims, liaising with block managers, loss adjusters, arranging estimates
  • inspect properties and submit reports to landlords

Requirements

  • must be ARLA Propertymark qualified to Level 3
  • have a good knowledge of Microsoft Software packages
  • excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • enjoy being part of a team all working towards a common goal
  • property Management: 3 years
