Responsibility
- pre-planning - prior to commissioning period ensure all parts have arrived, and all sub-contractors are booked in, and scheduled
- scheduling and providing works orders to Production Manager for AYS labour requirements
- technician briefing meeting - week prior to commissioning, ensuring each Technician is fully briefed and prepared prior to start date

- scheduling - liaise with Client Project Manager and Commissioning Coordinator to ensure that each boat is allocated the appropriate time period for commissioning, using the most appropriate resource
- final sign-off of the vessel before handover
- boat arrival – responsible for checking and reporting any transport damage; oversee the inventory check against packing list; reporting any defects as warranty to factory
- debrief - once handover is complete, conduct a meeting with the technician and warranty coordinator to run through any outstanding points
- sub-contractors – ensuring they work to Ancasta’s high standards, using protection and leaving the boat clean and tidy. Reviewing where necessary
- pinpoint Works - ensure detail is up to date on internal quality document, adding warranty claim numbers and costs
- onboard checks and trouble-shooting – daily visits to boats commissioned in the UK to check progress and trouble shoot as necessary; support Technicians with a daily phone call to anyone working abroad
- reporting common or repeat factory faults to Line Manager for factory reporting
- maintenance schedule – responsible for ensuring all maintenance checks are carried out, to include winterisation program
Requirements
- the ideal candidate will currently be working in a similar role within the marine industry
- previous experience with either maintenance or operation of yachts, sail and power
- technical knowledge of boat systems and equipment
