Responsibility
- use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver trailers to DCs on time
- interact with stakeholders in a professional manner
- complete daily maintenance checks using an app and notify manager of any issues
- be flexible, shift start times mainly include, afternoons, evenings, and nights with some days and weekends
- drive in inclement weather, such as light snow
- maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
- there is no loading /unloading or cargo securing requirements
- there is a great culture of inclusivity and support for diversity
Requirements
- have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence
- hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card
- currently have a right to work in the UK
- pass a background check to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law
- pass a standard drug and alcohol test to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law
- have a maximum of 6 penalty points in the Driver’s License
- HGV Class 1: 1 year
- must have BGC results as “Meets Requirements” and drug and alcohol tests with negative results
