Responsibility
- day to day management of shop floor staff with a focus on shop floor quality, efficiency and delivery targets
- continual improvement through use of our internal ISO 9001 processes
- interrogate the ERP system to determine production requirements
- raise and maintain timecards and Bills of Materials for production requirements
- manage outwork purchase orders
- ensure that timecards are scheduled/prioritised to fulfil customer demand
- interact with all departments as required and make sure dates are maintained on the ERP system
- ensure that customers receive regular and accurate updates of progress and timelines
Requirements
- experience in a similar role
- excellent organisational skills with a great eye for detail
- experience of working to ISO 9001 quality and non-conformance reporting systems
- experience with ERP/MRP
- experience with shop floor scheduling through use of ERP/MRP
- engineering experience
- UK driving license
