Responsibility
- support The Warehouse Operations Manager on the investigation of claims and operational failures. Recommend & embed any corrective actions as required
- monitor shift & individual performance through visible observations and supervisor feedback. Actively manage any underperformance or poor behaviour, providing updates and recommendations to the Warehouse Operations Manager when required
- provide recommendations for any areas that need further investment or support Engage with the team to promote near miss, incident & accident reporting
- oversee all daily activity, ensuring all supervisors are in control and driving position & performance. Provide updates to the Warehouse Operations Manager at regular intervals
- support the supervisors by acting upon any concerns raised by them pre or during shift
- carry out and complete all RTW’s in a timely manager, escalating any concerns to the relevant people as and when required
- ability to work efficiently across all areas of the Warehouse
- oversee blast intake and ensure receipt accuracy, fresh groupage inbound and outbound accuracy ensuring all customer orders are fulfilled as per loading schedule
