Responsibility

  • proactively identify and review suspect/fraudulent claims on a consistent basis in line with company' internal requirements

  • manage the statutory reporting requirements of AIGUK and the non-insurance entities within the UK Group
  • work with external auditors to deliver financial statements in line with applicable standards
  • be a UK GAAP/IFRS technical expert and a key SME for legal entity reporting for Finance

  • ensure consistency in all processes and the integrated data flow from US GAAP ledger for downstream reporting purposes

  • perform quarterly CAT risk aggregation at the corporate level and for Global Specialty to deliver insightful actionable reporting to internal stakeholders
  • lead continued development of a suite of reports for internal and external audiences
  • support Corporate and unit level reinsurance purchases, and deliver quarterly CAT data to external partners
  • assist in the development of global catastrophe capacity and appetite metrics, and the deployment of these across business units and geographies
  • work with Enterprise Risk Management partners to respond to rating agency surveys, and regulatory filing requirements
  • drive short and medium term efforts to transform internal CAT modelling process transformation initiatives
  • support Regional Cat teams with ad hoc projects including automation efforts
  • provide training to Offshore team and junior team members as required

  • provide pre-travel advice, arrange medical appointments or hospitalisation abroad and coordinate air ambulances
  • ensure all case handling is accurately documented in our system
  • proactively handle escalated calls and ensure complaints are resolved
  • work towards targets and key performance indicators to achieve business objectives
  • liaise with customers and corporate clients over the phone and via email, many of whom will be in difficult and sensitive circumstances
