Responsibility

  • provide feedback as the voice of the consumer and customer internally, specifically on range, channel design, competitor and commercial strategy
  • effectively communicate key brand and product stories, co-ordinate initiatives and selling activities during key events
  • attend Global and Regional meetings as required and present the Spanish Grassroots Business Strategy to internal teams
  • act as the category expert in basketball for Spain, by identifying new distribution opportunities, creating strong commercial plans and selling the proposal
  • drive growth of basketball game balls, teamwear and licensed products by selling-in the category product range, setting sell-through activities and collaborating effectively
  • work with the Key Account Manager Spain to manage distribution through the various channels available and provide access to Clubs and Institutions to Wilson direct channels for their purchasing needs

Requirements

  • previous experience in event management, planning, and execution is a plus
  • demonstrated proficiency in overseeing end-to-end license agreements and sponsorship contracts, ensuring the execution of partner rights
  • entrepreneurial spirit with the hunger and curiosity to think differently and create new opportunities
  • proven ability to collaborate with influencers and ambassadors to enrich the brand narrative, captivate consumers, and drive sales conversions
  • previously managed budgets to deliver sales and margin targets
  • authentic knowledge of the basketball landscape in Spain, as a current or previous player, coach or administrator, with established contacts in the industry
  • +2 years demonstrated sales experience executing the full sales cycle- prospecting, proposing, negotiating and closing
