payroll administrator

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • reconcile bank account payments
  • log receipts and invoices efficiently and correctly
  • request payments from customers and clients
  • process CIS liability monthly
  • process quarterly VAT return
  • process PAYE payroll for employees accurately and on time
  • maintain employee records and ensure data integrity
  • prepare payroll reports for management and accounting purposes

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
  • strong knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices
  • proficient in using payroll software and MS Office applications
  • excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • ability to analyse data and identify discrepancies or issues
  • strong organisational and time management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • working within a construction company previously would be a bonus
