lead and manage a team of regional sales managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve sales targets
work closely with the sales team to establish individual sales targets, providing clear objectives and performance expectations
implement a robust performance management system that tracks sales performance, identifies areas for improvement, and recognizes top performers
provide ongoing coaching and training to sales team members, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
additionally, you will be responsible for building out a small European operation utilising our Irish warehouse
develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, addressing any concerns, and providing exceptional customer service

Requirements
proven track record of success in sales management, preferably within the renewable energy industry or a related field
strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse sales team
excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams
demonstrated experience in developing and executing sales strategies that have resulted in significant business growth and market expansion
solid understanding of procurement processes, logistics, and marketing principles to optimise sales operations
strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events
