Responsibility

  • we are looking to hire a dedicated carer who enjoys working with children
  • you would provide care for a child with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy in a family home
  • this job is very rewarding for the right person who has patience, understanding and a caring friendly nature
  • we can offer you a home from home friendly environment where you will become part of a lovely team helping to support a family to live as normal life as possible
  • applicants will work as part of a personal healthcare package to provide care over a 24 hour period within a team of carers
  • the main duties will include Tracheostomy care, Enteral Feeding, Physio, personal care, accompanying to school and outings with the family. Full specialist training is provided in house aswell as a specialist training provider
  • experience in care is desirable and must enjoy working with Children and be willing to learn. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to expand on their skills and knowledge
  • shifts are 8/12 hours depending on staffing levels 4 on 4 off days and nights required. Overtime available throughout the year to cover holidays and is paid at £12.72 per hour
