Responsibility

  • alroy Microwave is a family run business, spanning over 52 Years
  • we are looking for an Mechanical Technician/Bench fitter to join our team
  • we are a manufacturer of mechanical products using base materials mainly Aluminium, Copper and Brass
  • we are involved in the manufacturing of Microwave and RF products for the Defense, Aerospace and Telecoms industry
  • we are looking for a mechanically minded individual to join or team
  • we have our own machine shop and also technicians on the bench manufacturing products using a variety of methods and hand tools

Requirements

  • you must be confident in the use of hand and bench tools
  • experience working in a manufacturing /production environment advantageous but not essential
  • good understanding of basic math and in particular trigonometry
  • have a strong work ethic, positive attitude and a desire to learn new skills
  • the successful applicant will receive full on the job training
  • the successful applicant will be required to assemble waveguide components in accordance with technical mechanical drawings for which, full training will be provided
  • as skill levels and confidence increase there is scope for the job role to develop and expand into other areas of the manufacturing process
