Responsibility

  • sewing a range of PPE garments
  • meet the minimum standards required regarding quality and pace within the probation period
  • using a variety of different industrial sewing machines
  • using machinery required for cutting and pressing fabric
  • ensuring patterns are matched correctly and product specifications followed accurately
  • working to timescales to achieve production targets, individually, and as part of the team
  • cleaning and maintaining assigned sewing machine regularly, ensuring that your own working area is kept tidy and organised
  • assisting in the maintenance of a safe working environment through the strict adherence to company health and safety rules and procedures
