Responsibility

  • responsible for the management and supervision of both the despatch and goods in team’s daily activities
  • ensure that production control data is up to date and accurate
  • ensure that goods out despatches are planned in-line with customer requirement and that delivery performance is met
  • ensure that the logistics team work in an effective and efficient manner at all times
  • key accountabilities include
  • managing team performance to meet KPI’s
  • liaise with Purchasing to ensure all deliveries are planned and receipted in- line with production demands
  • ensure that raw materials are available for production and that the incoming supply of materials is planned, managed, and stored ready for use in the production system
