Responsibility
- act as the SME for Physical Security in the business, supporting compliance with the Physical Security Policy
- assist in developing and enforcing security policies and standards, ensuring compliance with the National Lottery Licence
- work with the supplier and Workplace Services team on matters of Physical Security to maintain day-to-day security across multiple sites
- provide ongoing Physical Security advice to business areas
- conduct Physical Security surveys on business areas and sites to provide assurance on security measures and compliance, and implement mitigation measures
- set out Security Operational Requirements for new work services or change projects
- support in the development and delivery of training programs on security protocols and emergency preparedness
- conduct investigations into possible breaches of security
Requirements
- at least 5 years experience in working with Police, Defence or Critical National Infrastructure security agencies
- experience in corporate physical security management
- proven training in identifying requirements and implementing security equipment and measures
- proven track record in managing physical security systems, including electronic, technology and physical security aspects
- comfortable in handling, managing and securing confidential and sensitive information
- strong communication skills
- innovative approach with strong multi-tasking capabilities
- ability to translate complex concepts into easily understood principles
