Responsibility
co-ordinating any specialist SME input/ activity required from Functions / Programmes
actively managing stakeholders expectations and requirements
pro-actively ‘joining up delivery’ across Functions / Programmes
build and maintain an accurate view of all change relating to that area via CIAs completed to agreed programme standards
act as the Single Point of Contact for either Function or Programme in relation to all the change activity within that area
identify and log any new change requirements as they arise and ensure that change is assessed via a programme level prioritization process
create and maintain Function / Programme specific change plans and visualisations showing how and when the change will be implemented – ensuring that key milestones are
ensuring that change interventions designed by Change Delivery will meet the needs of the Function / Programme and are approved by them as required
Requirements
must be able to operate comfortably and with gravitas in interactions with stakeholders up to Exec level
must be able to hold the line between advocating for the Function / Programme whilst maintaining objectivity and challenge
excellent communication skills, naturally builds relationships
someone who can ‘think and do’ – proactively joining the dots and solving problems
previous experience of acting as a business change manager – including completion of CIAs / development and delivery of change mitigation / intervention plans is essential
strong ability to simplify complexity in a way which helps to build confidence of stakeholders and clarity over implementation plans, decisions on prioritization and so on
ability to plan effectively and operate within a programme construct / set of disciplines i.e. risks and issues mgt, plan mgt, reporting etc
