- our client are seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to manage key projects for major customers
- lead and manage key network infrastructure projects for major clients
- the Network Engineer will be engaged on a contract basis, with a potential extension based on project requirements and performance
- install, configure, and troubleshoot switch and router installations to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- the successful candidate will work within a hybrid model, combining remote work with onsite duties in Belfast
- design and implement complex network solutions, ensuring they meet the business requirements and standards
- perform network maintenance and upgrades including patches, hotfixes, and security configurations
- conduct network performance tuning and monitoring to ensure the highest level of performance and availability
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting switch and router installations in a large-scale enterprise environment
- experienced in Fortinet products
- demonstrated ability to install and troubleshoot complex network solutions, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability
- experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting switch and router installations
- cisco Certified Network Professional qualification is highly desirable
- familiarity with cloud networking solutions
- ability to install and troubleshoot complex network solutions
- strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
