service manager
Responsibility
- the post holder will: Provide strong project management and operational delivery of the service ensuring smooth daily running, and responsiveness to a situation which can be unpredictable and fast moving Work closely with the clinical services team, Lead Nurse, and Clinical Lead to ensure the service is safe, and effective, and fosters a team culture both within RASS but also across ABC Support members of the team, clinical and operational so that they can fulfil their role in delivering care ie overseeing scheduling of clinics/rota, SOPs in place etc Ensure the service is culturally informed when planning activity Ensure the service can be responsive to new arrivals at short notice through general preparedness Liaise with internal and external partners, as appropriate, to promote equitable access to health and care for refugees and asylum seekers Work closely with the central systems team to ensure that we are able to provide innovative and effective services in line with our values Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders including hotel teams, general practice teams, UK Health Security Agency , Home Office, commissioners, councils and third sector organisations recognizing the importance of the wider determinants of health that affect refugees and asylum seekers Ensure there is clear high-quality data and reporting to demonstrate service performance and progression against KPIs and how service is evolving Work with Quality team/Lead Nurse and Clinical Lead to ensure we respond appropriately to incidents and promote both a safeguarding and a learning culture so ABC can improve services Work closely with member practices to ensure that they are able to make the best use of our services for their patients Support practices/federations who are part of the refugee and asylum seeker service through a subcontract arrangement with ABC Work with system partners to integrate our services and provide seamless care for patients, particularly where services are located with other providers
