Responsibility

  • collect outstanding debt by telephone, fax, e-mail and letter etc
  • create and allocate daily banking sheets
  • allocate daily BACS / CHAPS receipts in sterling, euros and dollars
  • manage the 'On Stop’ status of customers’ accounts
  • circulate details of daily receipts to Commercial team, adjusting foreign currency receipts with the monthly approved exchange rates
  • update hard copy aged debt reports with the daily receipts and comments regarding payments, cheque collection, queries, etc
  • provide an efficient and professional level of pro-active account management and customer service, in line with the Company’s Credit Control Policy and Credit Insurance obligations
  • update credit control schedules and reports on a daily basis - LBA’s, legal, planned payments, unallocated cash and adjustments
