Responsibility
- build and maintain a comprehensive risk register, taking ownership of risk assessments and safe working practices across the business
- maintain an asset register, monitoring the suitability and maintenance of plant and equipment
- manage near-miss and accident reporting, including supporting with relevant investigations and improvements where necessary
- ongoing and reactive facilities maintenance, infrastructure projects, and annual compliance work
- take responsibility for relevant legislation relating to the facilities and business activities
- responsible for waste management, including environmental compliance
- take ownership of general site presentation, including managing cleaning and grounds contractors to maintain consistently high standards
- as the ‘responsible person’, you will manage the day-to-day health & safety of the business, helping to maintain a good understanding and culture of safety across the business
