Responsibility

  • we are looking for a fully qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our small but expanding team
  • all Things Therapy Centre offers psychological therapy to all ages inclusive of ability and neurodiversity
  • from October 2023 we are expanding our services to include neurodiversity assessments, focusing specifically on autism
  • we are looking for a HCPC registered SaLT who has training and experience conducting neurodiversity assessments as part of an MDT
  • offer neurodiversity assessments, focusing on autism, as part of a MDT to children and adults
  • you will be working alongside a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist to offer autism assessments to all ages
  • provide therapy sessions to individuals
  • collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as Psychologists and Psychotherapists to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

  • qualification in SaLT and registration with the HCPC
  • previous experience working as a SaLT and offering neurodiversity assessments essential
  • knowledge of various assessment tools and therapy techniques for speech and language disorders
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients of all ages and their families
  • ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
