Working hours

Responsibility

  • liaise with customers, suppliers, warehouse staff and senior management
  • co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods
  • use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently
  • respond to and deal with customer communications via email and telephone
  • stock control systems regularly kept up to date and maintain acccurate inventory management within internal warehouse management systems
  • planning future capacity requirements and acting accordingly
  • motivater, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
  • produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to brief senior management
