Responsibility
- lead C & E, I Engineering on site
- lead improvements and optimization projects on existing plant and facilities
- carry out engineering feasibility studies as part of the budgeting and project processes
- provide Electrical engineering expertise into safety activities and other safety improvement projects
- take a leadership role with respect to company engineering standards & systems associated with C & E, I Engineer
- manage small CAPEX projects and improvements involving staff from maintenance, engineering, & operations
- work closely with the Maintenance team to root cause breakdowns and provide technical expertise to support plant trouble shooting
- ensure full compliance is met and adhered too across a range of electrical functions including ATEX, DSEAR, HV/LV
Requirements
- HSE, BS, ATEX considerations of hazardous area installations
- good communication and team working skills
- self-starter, working individually and within a team
- be able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of project management including budget control and stakeholder management
- desire to develop self and others
- defining, managing & delivering small to medium sized CAPEX projects
- also, as part of the Engineering department and the roll to support ever changing production requirements, you will need to be involved in new projects. These can range from small plant changes to new production facilities
- electrical Engineering: 10 years
Education
- relevant degree in either instrumentation or electrical engineering or relevant industry experience spanning 10+ years
