  • utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for bodywork repairs
  • weld, maintain, and assemble components as required
  • repair or replace damaged panels, ensuring alignment with manufacturer specifications
  • conduct equipment repair and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle structures and systems
  • provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines
  • maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • perform heavy lifting as necessary during the repair process

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Panel Beater or in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred
  • mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
  • familiarity with various types of power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
  • experience in reading schematics is advantageous
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining efficiency
  • excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
