Responsibility
- my client; a manufacturing company is seeking a Environmental Health & Safety Officer to join their team in Stourport-on-Severn
- main Responsibilities
- carry out Environmental Health and Safety audits and inspections in line with schedules
- assist with quarterly fire evacuation tests and ensure all records are updated on the tracker
- monitor and assist the First Aid team with the weekly first aid station inspections
- attend and participate in Health and Safety meetings and daily production meetings as required
- the successful Environmental Health & Safety Officer will be responsible for th day to day tasks relating to Environment Health & Safety will lead by example, be a role model and representative of employee Safety for the EHS department and provide help and advice with all Environmental Health and Safety matters
- conduct Risk Assessment Reviews and create new Risk Assessments for all departments as required
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years exerience in Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment
- IOSH Qualification required
- nebosh General preferred, or working towards
- highly organised with an eye for detail and a focus on task completion
- strong work ethic and resilience
- excellent communicator at all levels
- understanding of manufacturing environments and processes
- willingness to undertake further qualifications
