Responsibility
- bar Staff Job Description
- prepare and serve drinks to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- maintain a clean and organized bar area
- take orders from customers and provide recommendations on drinks and food items
- operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- ensure that all customers are of legal drinking age and follow responsible alcohol service policies
- assist with catering events, banquets, and other special events as needed
- brew coffee, tea, and other non-alcoholic beverages for customers
Requirements
- previous experience in the food industry or hospitality preferred
- bartending
- knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- must be at least 18 years of age or older
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus
