Responsibility
- all aspects of Sales Ledger/Purchase Ledger Processing
- posting and allocating receipts to Customer accounts
- reconciling Customer Remittances
- credit Control by telephone and email, & issuing Reports to Managers
- customer liaison via telephone & email
- reconciliation of Supplier Statements
- preparation of info for quarterly VAT returns
- handling incoming and outgoing electronic correspondence -emails
Requirements
- accounting
- bookkeeping
- proven work history within an Accounts or Finance department essential
- previous experience working in both Purchase & Sales Ledger is essential
- experience of managing Sales Ledger or Credit Control essential
- competent with Sage 50
- excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential
- to have an excellent telephone manner and good communication skills to deal with customers, suppliers, and other team members
