you would be working within a small office so you must be trustworthy, and reliable
answering phone calls and being the first point of contact for customers
monitoring the email inbox and responding to emails
taking bookings and adding to the diary
akers Removals Ltd is a local family run removal company, with a fantastic local reputation. We are looking for a reliable, dedicated and proactive Office Administrator to assist with the day to day running of the company
problem solving and working out methodical ways of arranging the bookings
sending booking confirmations and appointment reminders
you will be working alongside and reporting to our full time Office Manager and will also be required to work closely with one of the company directors; therefore, you must be confident working as part of a small team, in a family run business
Requirements
good all-round administration experience
experience in the removals industry is an advantage
ability to plan, organise and prioritise effectively
knowledge of the local area
highly organised and proactive, with great attention to detail
able to work on your own and work things out by yourself, but also able to take instructions
A driver with own transport
