Responsibility

  • you would be working within a small office so you must be trustworthy, and reliable
  • answering phone calls and being the first point of contact for customers
  • monitoring the email inbox and responding to emails
  • taking bookings and adding to the diary
  • akers Removals Ltd is a local family run removal company, with a fantastic local reputation. We are looking for a reliable, dedicated and proactive Office Administrator to assist with the day to day running of the company
  • problem solving and working out methodical ways of arranging the bookings
  • sending booking confirmations and appointment reminders
  • you will be working alongside and reporting to our full time Office Manager and will also be required to work closely with one of the company directors; therefore, you must be confident working as part of a small team, in a family run business

Requirements

  • good all-round administration experience
  • experience in the removals industry is an advantage
  • ability to plan, organise and prioritise effectively
  • knowledge of the local area
  • highly organised and proactive, with great attention to detail
  • able to work on your own and work things out by yourself, but also able to take instructions
  • A driver with own transport
