As a fast growing company, we are looking for forward thinking, ambitious individuals to help drive forward our growth plans.RoleThe Electricity Estimator is responsible for the timely and accurate provision of HV/LV quotations to the business development team.Attitude & Ethos· Able to work under pressure to deadlines· Able to work as part of a high performing team, under leadership of the Tendering Manager· Values reflective of the AIS Brand and AIS Vision to achieve 10X Growth· ‘Can do’ attitudeElectricity Tendering· Experience of working for a Distribution Network Operator or Independent Connection Provider· A sound understanding of all commercial aspects of an ICP Project, which should include Contracts, Costing Sheets, Civils cost, Asset Values quotations· Proficiency and good understanding of DNO & iDNO adoption of new HV & LV distribution networks· Proficiency and good understanding of the necessary Switchgear needed on HV and LV schemes, based on DNO & iDNO adoption of apparatus & DNO G81 specifications.· Experience of using Windébut network modelling software would be desirable· Experience of using AutoCAD software would be desirableAbility to comply and work within with company tendering guidelines, procedures and timescales.Commercials· Continually look for value add and value engineering opportunities on projects during the estimating stageSupport the wider needs of the business as requiredSalary: £21,000-£25,000Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £21,000.00-£25,000.0
