Responsibility
- maintaining computerised administration & stock inventory
- setting and monitoring the achievement of KPI’s
- reliable, committed, hardworking
- ensuring staff are working to processes and using the systems correctly
- plan for and management of regular stock takes
- reporting to management on and updating the stock system with relevant information post stock takes on a timely basis
- managing the Warehouse Team of 3 personnel to ensure the effective running of the warehouse, including the provision of a high level of service and positive communication
- ensuring clear and transparent stock organisation to facilitate easy stock picking by team
Requirements
- proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager managing a team
- proven people management skills, with the ability to inspire, lead and motivate a team of people, delegate work and explain ideas
- experience of managing change and dealing with employee relations issues
- experience of implementing warehouse systems and processes and training on those processes
- experience of working in an inventory-based business will be an advantage
- good level of knowledge and experience of all Microsoft packages
- forklift licence/experience
- proven Knowledge and experience of maintaining the legal requirements when operating a warehouse
