Responsibility
- be proficient in maintaining aircraft to the appropriate standard
- responsible for planning and leading the work of aircraft mechanics
- being able to perform all maintenance tasks including but not limited to
- assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand tools and power tools
- replace and replenish aircraft fluids, including fuel, oils and lubricants
- prepare and paint aircraft surfaces
- remove or install aircraft components
- maintain the highest airworthiness, quality, safety and performance standards and ensure all company and legal requirements appertaining to aircraft maintenance and inspection are complied with
Requirements
- deep understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to Part 145
- deep understanding of Chevron Processes, procedures and working practices
- proven work history in a P145 base maintenance/ aviation environment
- A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar
- have extensive knowledge of Base Maintenance activities with hands on working experience
- proven work history in a base maintenance/ aviation environment
- understanding of Health & Safety, Human Factors and Compliance requirements
- understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to Part 145
