Responsibility
be proficient in maintaining aircraft to the appropriate standard
responsible for planning and leading the work of aircraft mechanics
being able to perform all maintenance tasks including but not limited to
assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand tools and power tools
replace and replenish aircraft fluids, including fuel, oils and lubricants
prepare and paint aircraft surfaces
remove or install aircraft components
maintain the highest airworthiness, quality, safety and performance standards and ensure all company and legal requirements appertaining to aircraft maintenance and inspection are complied with
Requirements
deep understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to Part 145
deep understanding of Chevron Processes, procedures and working practices
proven work history in a P145 base maintenance/ aviation environment
A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar
have extensive knowledge of Base Maintenance activities with hands on working experience
proven work history in a base maintenance/ aviation environment
understanding of Health & Safety, Human Factors and Compliance requirements
understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to Part 145
