Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • collecting clients containers from port & delivering to our warehouse in Lichfield
  • operate in a busy port environment
  • this fleet will grow over a period of time & other positions will be available double shifting a modern vehicle fleet
  • 100% Trunking / RDC Delivery
  • this is a Full time position working direct for the operator
  • required to keep up to date with the required pre-shift vehicle checks, completed paperwork & other normal administrative tasks
  • no Nights out, no handball, allocated vehicle
  • expected to maintain your Driver hours in accordance with Working Time Regulations &

Requirements

  • up to date DCPC & Digi card
  • RHIDES Card ideally but training can be given
  • port Experience is required, particularly Felixstowe, Southampton & LG
  • able to operate Skeletal trailers at 20ft, 40ft & 45ft settings
  • no DD, TT, DR or CD codes on your Licence
  • no more than 6 points
  • able to provide references
  • more than 12 months experience
