Responsibility

  • planning and delivering standardisation for AIM end-point assessors
  • monitoring procedures to ensure that assessments are conducted fairly and that they are valid, reliable and consistent
  • supporting the quality assurance of end-point assessments with planned internal quality assurance activity
  • providing reports on end-point assessment activity as required
  • risk management of the of associate assessment team in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
  • supporting the planning of assessment schedules to ensure end-point assessors are in place, monitoring and acting on conflicts of interest or potential conflicts of interest
  • review and record end-point assessors' and IQAs' annual adherence to CPD requirements, in line with regulatory requirements
  • manage the review and re-contracting process annually for associate assessors

Requirements

  • demonstrable experience of the awarding organisation/education sector
  • experience of working in the creative industries
  • knowledge of the awarding body and regulatory structures
  • experience of examining
  • A recognised current workplace or end-point assessment qualification at level 3 or above
  • about AIM
  • A recognised, current, internal quality assurance qualification
  • knowledge and understanding of assessment of apprenticeship standards
