Requirements

Responsibility

  • leading on the financial audit and compliance requirements with any relevant regulators on behalf of the organisation and its subsidiaries
  • producing a range of financial analysis and present to the senior and executive leadership teams
  • managing, developing, and maintaining the AIM Group financial reporting system and the assets register, liaising with other members of staff
  • management and supervision of the finance team
  • producing all necessary statements and reports to produce accurate measurement of profit and loss, debtors, creditors, management accounts etc
  • overseeing the maintenance of up-to-date records of staff salaries, costs, and other financial resources across the AIM group
  • overseeing the monthly salary runs and production of all the monthly payroll information and reports required by the Executive Leadership Team
  • day-to-day regulatory financial activities of the AIM Group, overseeing all income generation and being responsible for recording all expenditure and producing monthly management accounts

Requirements

  • demonstrable experience of working in a finance management role
  • experience working with Sage and Payroll accounts
  • A Bachelor's Degree and/or an accounting qualification ie. ACCA, CIMA, CipFa
  • knowledge of financial requirements for awarding organisations and charities
  • experience of managing financial processes and procedures
  • proven success in maintaining financial compliance in a regulated environment
  • demonstrable people management skills, as demonstrated from previous roles
