fabricator welder
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques to be used
- setting up and operating welding equipment and tools, including TIG, MIG, and stick welding
- performing welding and fabrication tasks, such as cutting, bending, and forming metal, using a variety of hand and power tools
- inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure that they meet the required specifications and AIM Group quality standards
- identifying and reporting any defects or deviations from specifications to AIM Group Manufacturing
- attending client facilities/sites to carry out site installs as required
- following all AIM Group and client safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- keeping equipment and work areas clean and well-maintained
Requirements
- completion of a welding or fabrication program, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in welding and fabrication
- strong knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques and equipment
- ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- experience with TIG, MIG, and stick welding
- strong attention to detail and quality control
- strong safety awareness and adherence to safety regulations
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
