AGRIVERT is looking for employees for positions:

process technician

  • process technician

Working hours

  • permanent

Responsibility

  • complying with and improving site safety
  • monitor and control SCADA system to ensure optimum plant performance
  • fill feeder hoppers in line with feed ration
  • daily recording and reporting plant statistics and performance
  • complete and record daily/weekly/monthly checks on plant and equipment
  • identify and report any irregularities including breakdowns, damages and incidents
  • complete first line maintenance on plant and equipment e.g. topping up oils and greases, completing visual checks
  • complete basic sampling of process tank health and silage including dm%, pH, FOSTAC

Requirements

  • basic maintenance/mechanical skills
  • have a good understanding of all health and safety regulations
  • excellent communications skills/ personable manner
  • computer literate – essential. Must be able to complete basic spreadsheets, emails and operate the SCADA system
  • experience in an industrial related field, such as wastewater or recycling would be beneficial
  • experience of operating either agricultural or plant machinery
  • have a good basic knowledge of AD/biogas/feedstock
