agricultural engineer
Working hours
- full-time | Part-time
Responsibility
- fabrication and manufacturing of agricultural parts in accordance with drawings
- repairs, refurbishment and modifications to agricultural equipment
- take delivery of goods inwards - checking for damaged or missing items
- store goods appropriately using counterbalance or reach forklift
- pick and pack orders for dispatch
- operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
- quality assurance - ensuring relevant checking mechanisms are followed
Requirements
- previous workshop / mechanical engineering and use of lathes
- current forklift license desirable, however full training will be provided
- warehouse / stock management experience would be a great bonus
- work accurately and methodically
- able to work well as part of a team
- plan and organise work
- an understanding of health and safety requirements
- flexible approach to duties and tasks
