Responsibility
- managing and enhancing the HR department by strategically developing and operationally implementing new HR policies, programs and practices
- implementing agreed Investment Committee decisions /Trustee instructions
- implementing asset allocation strategy as agreed with the trustees

- managing relationships with external investment advisers/ managers and periodically reviewing their performance against benchmarks
- fundamental research on global sectors, stocks, fixed income, and fund investments
- work with House Managers for recruitment of household staff
- management of reviews of external hedge fund managers and liaising with banking partners in conjunction with the CEO/CIO
- focusing on analysing third party funds and managers/advisers across a range of asset classes and advising on appropriate investment allocations
- monitor the investment portfolio
- maintain an accurate and up to date record of staff information including salaries, benefits, annual leave, emergency contact details, complaints etc
- analysing and monitoring global macro/market developments
- cash and short-term liquidity management
- work directly with the CIO on the generation, portfolio construction and implementation of investment ideas and portfolio strategy across all asset classes
- proactive response to employee relations including appraisal process, training and development, disciplinaries, grievances and general staff issues
- supervising internal reports analysing holdings, performance and risk metrics for individual and consolidated portfolios as appropriate
- analyse performance attribution and risk reporting to adjust portfolios as necessary
- provide professional leadership, support, and development to senior managers and any HR team members, to increase knowledge, share best practice and to ensure that relevant professional standards are met
- ensure all disciplinary and grievances are dealt with in line with company policy
- managing liquidity and loan arrangements for the trusts as delegated/instructed by the beneficiaries
- establish and sustain connections with bank derivative desks and ETF and Mutual Fund providers
- continuously monitors the portfolio with different simulations to assess underlying risk and to ensure it lies within the risk and returns parameters and advising the CIO
- minimise external costs relating to legal or HR advice
- prepare materials for and participate in the Investment Committee
- support employees across the Family Office with daily HR related queries
- work closely with the CEO/CIO in making recommendations on the overall asset allocation, risk, leverage of Trust/client portfolios
- remuneration will be commensurate with the duties and demands of the role and the experience of the candidate
- monitoring and projecting cash drawdowns and distributions for private equity and other investments and in conjunction with the CEO/CIO ensuring appropriate funding and liquidity levels are maintained

- weekly equity report on the consolidated portfolio movement for the week and market comments
- past work to include buy-side and portfolio management experience
- weekly IPO report with recommendations on strategy
- liaise with, and direct, segregated account managers
- preference will be given towards a generalist over a specialist
- ability to lead conversations in investment meetings
- intellectual curiosity and passion about investing and markets, a calculated risk taker
- the role will also include coverage of Segregated Account Managers, being responsible for the relationships with third parties, oversight, etc
- enthusiasm about companies and investment analysis)
- experience with Derivatives and FX Hedging preferred
- excellent analytical and problem solving skills
