Responsibility

  • acting as main client point of contact for day-to-day issues, developing a strong working relationship
  • preparation and submission of Company and Personal Tax Returns to HMRC, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
  • preparation of year end and management accounts and analytical review for presentation to / discussion with clients
  • preparation of VAT returns
  • onboarding new clients including setting up on cloud software and provide training and guidance

Requirements

  • experience of working in an Accountancy Practice and producing accounts and tax returns
  • experience of managing staff
  • self-motivating
  • excellent skills in MS Office, IRIS Accounts and Tax software. Experience with QuickBooks, XERO, and FreeAgent is desirable
  • excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to develop working relationships with clients
  • qualified or Part qualified with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent or comparable experience
  • accounting: 1 year
