- what you’ll be doing
- your core responsibilities would be to help assess, diagnose, and oversee the patients in your care
- you will also be offered secondments in each of Acute Medicine, Anaesthetics, Critical Care and Acute Paediatrics
- providing medical care to patients in the Emergency Department
- provide clinical care to patients admitted to the Acute Frailty Unit
- NHS experience in A&E
- you would be joining a team of 25 WTE Consultant Radiologists providing a general radiological service
- participating in the on-call rota
- work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients
- collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care
- take an active role in the management and improvement of the service
- to provide senior medical leadership on the ward supporting & supervising more junior staff & delegating duties
- participating in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
- participate in teaching and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
- you may be asked to participate in weekend rota also
- to ensure the appropriate discharge of patients, including timely paperwork to the General Practitioner ensuring a continuation of care following discharge
- to work in all areas of the ED
- this role is a full-time position for a Specialty Doctor in Emergency Medicine in the NHS in a Hospital in Cumbria; we are looking for a permanent or fixed-term trust Consultant
- calling all Specialty Doctors in Radiology for a NHS Trust in South West London with increasing collaboration to develop stronger clinical services between two major providers serving Surrey and south west London
- participating in the day-to-day work of the Department at a middle grade level
- assist, train and supervise ST/GP-VTS/FY2 trainees, Trust doctors, ENP and ANPs in Emergency Medicine; report concerns to the Duty Consultant
- there is consultant presence from 0900hrs until midnight 7 days per week
- revalidation and appraisal support from the trust

- you will be working in a specialty doctor in A&E post as an at an NHS trust based in London. This is a full-time and permanent specialty doctor post in A&E
- this would be a 10 PA post required to cover Specialist grade vacancy and to meet the increasing demand in the trust- the post aims to support the general Radiology work across all sites including CT,MRI and ultrasound with candidates keen to develop sub-specialty further
- fully GMC registered
- you will also be offered option to work less than full time and an additional 2 PAs may also be available and you will be allowed great opportunities to train in a busy and supportive environment
