Responsibility
- this role is initially temporary for 6 months with a possibility of transferring to a permanent arrangement
- perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- conduct general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient and accurate data entry
- manage accounts payable functions, including processing invoices and issuing payments
- conduct credit analysis to assess the creditworthiness of customers or clients
- demonstrate financial acumen by analyzing financial statements and providing insights or recommendations
- ensure timely and accurate recording of accounts receivable transactions
Requirements
- proven experience in finance-related roles, such as accounting or financial services
- strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting principles
- proficient in 10 key typing for fast and accurate data entry
- familiarity with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment issuance
- ability to conduct credit analysis to assess creditworthiness
- excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyze financial statements and provide insights or recommendations
- strong attention to detail for accurate recording of accounts receivable transactions
- experience in account reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies
