centre manager

Working hours

  • full-time | Part-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • maintain the monthly statistical spreadsheet containing management information for the Trustees
  • ● Line manager of the Care Manager, Bookkeeper , Outreach Coordinator, Kitchen
  • staff and Centre Support
  • ● Build a strong relationship with the trustees, jointly agreeing the overall strategy for the charity and centre
  • accountable for the delivery of this
  • ● Responsible for the management of the centre, ensuring it remains legally compliant, financially sustainable and offers the highest possible quality of care and support to members
  • participate in trustee meetings as required/necessary and provide a written report to each monthly trustee meeting
  • ● Overall accountability for all financial matters including the Centre bank account, with the potential for a bookkeeper role to take responsibility for day-to-day financial operations if required

Requirements

  • ● Business acumen - must be able to demonstrate an understanding of running a commercial organisation - profit and loss, business planning, marketing, customer acquisition, staff management and working in a regulated environment

  • ● Personable and friendly - an open style of dealing with people regardless of age, gender, and personal beliefs. Demonstrate an empathy with the needs of employees and members
  • ● Effective communication - both written and oral as the incumbent will be expected to meet with outside agencies to conduct meetings and deliver presentations
