Responsibility
- report to the CEO on all financial matters
- be the main point of contact for day-to-day financial operations
- provide financial reports and management accounts in a fast growth environment
- prepare submissions and claims for R&D tax credits & grant funding
- generate forecasts across multiple facilities and core business
- analyse costs, pricing, sales results and the company's actual performance
- identify, forecast and track opportunities to improve unit economics
- advise the CEO on new investment activities
Requirements
- proven experience as a Financial Manager
- fantastic Xero and Google Sheets skills
- A love of data and modelling
- track record of working in a fast paced environment, often based on calculated assumptions
- previous experience owning forecasting and budget control
- able to guide the team to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
