quantity surveyor
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- preparation of regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project including progress, programme, costs, risks and quality management
- prepare monthly valuation reports as necessary
- client liaising and chairing meetings throughout the project life cycle
- interview and select contractors for tendering or negotiation, evaluate tenders received and contractor appointment
- value and authorise payments to contractors
- monitor the contract progress, assess and report any changes that may affect project costs or time scale
- re-evaluate changes within project scope and update records accordingly
- assist in the control of individual contract budgets
Requirements
- experience in Quantity Surveying and Project Management
- relevant qualifications or work experience
- strong IT skills and proficient with learning new systems and the use of MS Office
- presentable and client facing with a positive, professional attitude
- methodical, organised and detail orientated
- ability to work accurately and keep to strict deadlines
- must be flexible in hours of work, travel and hold a Full UK Driving Licence
- A high degree of self-motivation and time management
