Responsibility
lead estimation, quoting, bidding, and proposal development for new and existing contracts
conduct price, cost, and profitability analysis to identify opportunities
experience in preparing and delivering winning proposals, ideally within the Aerospace manufacturing sector would be preferable
negotiate terms for contracts and extensions to maximize profitability
develop and execute pricing strategies aligned to business goals
we are currently looking to employ a dedicated Commercial Sales Manager at our Sittingbourne facility, to manage the commercial interface with our customers and internal operations
this is a “hands on” position, with a varied scope, ranging from day-to-day administration through to strategic planning
create and deliver customer proposals, liaising with cross-functional teams
Requirements
bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
existing aerospace industry connections and relationships
contract law experience or understanding
strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
experience with ERP/accounting systems
excellent negotiation abilities with proven track record
professional communication and presentation abilities
3+ years experience in a commercial or sales role, ideally in aerospace/manufacturing
