Responsibility
- we have a vacancy for an experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector
- manual inspection of sheet metal details and assemblies using hand measurement tools
- manual measurement of parts to customer & internal technical drawings using hand held equipment
- follow Engineering Drawings and Customer Specifications
- visual inspection of treated/painted surfaces and assemblies
- visual inspection of surface finish and assemblies
- produce clear inspection reports for internal & external investigation and first articles
- dimensional reporting to assist first article report generation

Requirements
- ability to read and understand technical drawings
- reliability & Punctuality
- good teamwork skills
- computer Experience
- computer Experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- strong communication skills
- you should have previous experience of dimensional checking within a precision engineering, aerospace or Fabrication shop environment and be competent at checking using hand held measuring tools such as Verniers and Micrometres ideally within the Aerospace sector
