process technician
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- the Equipment involves vacuum pumps, gas control systems and high current electric heaters
- the technician will also be involved in basic maintenance of the above equipment
- A unique opportunity has arisen for a process technician to join a team operating bespoke high temperature furnaces involved in the purification of graphite parts used in the semiconductor industry and supplied to a worldwide market

- relied upon by its clients in the Telecoms, Solar, EV, Smartphone and Space Industries, the business is well respected by its many international clients and within the industry
- AFTech now seek a careful and reliable Process Technician to work with delicate and valuable parts. The Technician must be able to work successfully with minimum supervision
- full training will be provided but attention to detail and good manual dexterity are required. The role involves some lifting, standing, handling of chemicals, working in a clean room along with using hand and power tools on a daily basis
Requirements
- process experience is advantageous
- clean room experience is desirable
- chemical handling experience is advantageous
- working on process equipment would be an advantage but not essential
